LABORATORY OF 3D MODELLING,
METAVERSES, AND NON-FUNGIBLE TOKENS TECHNOLOGIES

It is planned to train young people in the field of use of 3D modelling to solve prototyping problems, create 3D customised games and 3D characters and their animation, 3D designs, and work with CAD systems. The youth will get acquainted with metaverse and NFT technologies and their application to promote innovation and start-ups.

TASHKENT-SHANGHAI DIGITAL INNOVATION BRIDGE

Together with our partner, a Chinese engineering company Sagta Engineering, we are developing a metaverse called the Tashkent-Shanghai Digital Innovation Bridge. There students from Uzbekistan and China will exchange knowledge, innovations, ideas, technological development, solutions to engineering problems, and many other initiatives. The metaverse contains two islands. The first island situates schools, universities and other educational institutions. And the second island is an island for leisure activities, such as games, sports, educational entertainment, among others.

VIRTUAL INFLUENCER

Our Center has its own very first virtual influencer! Learn about virtual influencers and create your own.

What is a virtual influencer?

Virtual influencers are computer-generated characters. Just like real-life human influencers, virtual influencers are active on social networks, blogs, video platforms, and other media. They can appear as realistic 3D models or in an animation style and often have their own unique biography, personality, and history. Virtual influencers are becoming part of today's digital culture, changing traditional approaches in social media and marketing.

Areas of Use

Education and Information Resources. Virtual influencers can be involved in educational projects and information resources. They can create content on specific topics, give advice, share knowledge, and help educate people in an interactive way.

Advertising and Marketing. Virtual influencers can be used in advertising campaigns and marketing activities, promoting products, services, and brands through their social media and platforms. They are highly flexible and can be created with a specific image that matches the target audience.

Entertainment Industry. Virtual influencers can be used for entertainment purposes. They can create videos, music, dances, and other content that may interest viewers. Virtual influencers can also participate in various events and shows.

Research and Development. Virtual influencers can be used in research and development, especially in the field of artificial intelligence and computer graphics. They can serve as models for testing new algorithms and technologies. Overall, virtual influencers provide an opportunity to create unique content and interact with audiences in a completely new format.

Programs Used in the Project

  • Blender: This is where the model is edited, RIGs are added, UV layouts are corrected, and textures are added.
  • Marvelous Designer: Used to create detailed and high-quality garments.
  • Maya: This program is used to create any kind of hair (eyelashes, eyebrows, hairstyles, body hair).
  • Rokoko Studio: Used for recording animation or for real-time animation.
  • Unreal Engine 5: This program compiles everything that was done in the other 4 programs and adds physical simulation for objects.

Mechanics of Use

The influencer will be utilized with the help of the game engine Unreal Engine and Blender 3D, where virtual scenes will be created and our influencer will be embedded in them. All actions of the influencer can be pre-rendered in various video formats for use on different video hosting platforms and social networks, or they can be shown to the public in real time via streaming services such as Twitch.
